Peggy SandersPeggy Sanders

Peggy Sanders was born and raised in the high desert of New Mexico and later became a military wife, traveling coast-to-coast in the U.S. and in Germany. She received the Outstanding Civilian Service Medal for her work with the U.S. Army’s Community Life Program at Fort Hood. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A & M—Central Texas, is a three-time member of Who’s Who, and has a background in banking and college-level tutoring in English and literature.

Someone gave her a copy of The Bobbsey Twins before first grade, and she has been an avid reader ever since. She was a long-time stringer, book reviewer, and columnist for a Texas newspaper, and she has won several awards for poetry, essays, and stories.

Peggy and her Number One Guy moved to Arkansas in 2005. They live on a few wooded acres out in the country with four bossy cats.
