Program: Anatomy of a Scene.
We had a wonderful meeting on February 23 with 29 in attendance, including a number of first-time guests. The program focused on scene development in fiction. We discussed how effective scenes are built and how they serve the story. We also looked at a template for developing that serve their intended purpose.

Scene-Focused Read Around. Based on the principles and practices we discussed in the February meeting (see above), everyone is invited to bring a scene they have written and share it with the group. Let’s keep it around 500 words. You can read your scene or outline the details.
