We meet on the 4th Monday of each month, at 6:30 p.m.

As always, prospective members are welcome to learn more about us by attending a meeting. There is no obligation … but there will be snacks.

UPCOMING DATES AND TOPICS

December 15, 2025 
Annual Christmas Party. The celebration will be held at the Carmichael Community Center. The address is 801 S. Elm Street in Searcy. (Note: for this month only, we’re meeting on the third Monday, not the fourth.) Also note: it begins at 6:00 p.m.

If you would like to come, here are three reminders.

1. Bring a dish. There’s no cost for the meal. It’s pot luck. You can bring anything you want: a casserole, a salad, a side, a desert, or even a bag of chips or a bottle of soda. There will be plenty of food, so bring what is convenient for you to bring.

2. Bring something for the read around.  Our Christmas read arounds are unique — kind of a Secret Santa style. Just bring something you have written (700 words / 2 pages max).  Don’t sign your name to it. Instead, print it and roll it up and tie with a ribbon or rubber band. We’ll put all the readings in a basket and all participants will read one at random — and the group will try to guess who wrote it. We do this every year and it’s always great fun.

3. Let us know you’re coming. It’s not absolutely necessary to register, since it’s pot-luck. But it will help to have a basic idea of who will be there. Send an email or use the contact form to let us know you plan to come.
