John R. Price
John R. Price enjoyed reading mystery novels while growing up in Little Rock and Conway.
He also enjoys watching classic and new whodunit mystery shows. Several times over the years, he has tried to draft his own stories with a dream of someday publishing one.
He also enjoys watching documentaries of various topics including Hollywood behind-the-scenes presentations, biographies, historical events, and various pop culture trends.
Reading Christian apologetics materials and listening to Christian apologetics podcasts includes some of his interests.
While attending high school, John had thought of pursuing a career in broadcasting. He was encouraged by his dad to consider a more stable profession. Initially considering computer science, John switched to business administration with an emphasis in management information systems at UCA and later a graduate degree in business administration at Ole Miss. However, John’s interest in television and radio continued.
He has spent many years employed as a college teacher.
In November 2025, John released a new novel called Whitman’s Choice (see below). The story is based on a previously self-published work no longer in print. The idea was spawned from a combination of his fascination with television production, television nostalgia, and Christian ethics.
