Lydia Clark

Lydia grew up in Oregon, where she loved exploring the moss-laden rainforest and thinking up adventure stories. However, she only started writing seriously in 2023, when she penned her first children’s story.

She now enjoys writing young adult fantasy, children’s picture books, and an assortment of short stories.

A Harding graduate, Lydia works as a nurse at the local hospital. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and wandering the woods. Though not as lush as Oregon, she enjoys Arkansas’s unique beauty including its abundant snakes and other wildlife (don’t tell her pet rats).

From the people she meets to the nature she enjoys, she believes God’s beautiful creativity manifests itself in many ways. For her, writing is a small way she can imitate him in creating something good.
